Welcome
Welcome! I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I also received a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction degree from UTK. I have taught many grades including 4th grade in Knox County, 2nd grade in Elizabethton City, 3rd grade at Cedar Grove and Wilson Elementary in Rutherford County. I also worked as a supervisor of student teachers at Milligan College in Elizabethton, TN. I began teaching at McFadden in 2013. The students' passion to learn and enthusiasm from the staff at McFadden makes everyday a great day to teach.
I am 29 years married to Kenny Merryman and we have 2 "adult" children. Todd is an account coordinator for the Pinkston PR group in Washington D.C. Molly Kate is a junior at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I enjoy time with my family, miniature schnauzers and chickens. We are Vol fans and love UT sports. I love to garden, exercise and read. I'm blessed to be a part of the McFadden Family.
