4H Teresa Jones 4th & 5th Grades.
4H is a community of young people learning citizenship, leadership, and life skills through hands-on activities. Our club will meet on Tuesdays one or two times a month in my classroom and have lessons focusing on nutrition and other science interests - led by an instructor from the UT Extension office. In addition, students will have the opportunity to compete in traditional 4H contests.
There are no fees associated with 4H with the exception of participation in various subject-specific events offered through the UT Extension program. These programs are optional. Student may join at any of the meetings throughout the year, although the first meeting is the best time to join.
