Mrs. Miffleton has been in education for twenty years. She began her career in 1998 at Central Middle School as a seventh grade math teacher and coached both the girls basketball and softball teams. Mrs. Miffleton spent ten years teaching seventh grade math at Central Middle and Christiana Middle Schools before transitioning out of the classroom and into a math instructional coach position at Lavergne Lake Elementary. Mrs. Miffleton has been an assistant principal at McFadden School of Excellence and H.P. Campus School for the past two years. She has a Bachelors Degree from Martin Methodist college, a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University. Her husband, Matt, is a manager at State Farm Insurance Company. The Miffletons have two children; Madeline Mae(8) and Maci Scott(6). Outside of school, Mrs. Miffleton enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoys being involved at church, spending time with her girls riding bikes and playing with Barbies & American Girl dolls, reading, and hot barre classes. She loves attending and watching any kind of sporting event with her husband, Matt. She is passionate about leading and serving others and hopes to ingrain that same passion in to the hearts of her teachers, students, and her own children.
