I grew up in Shelbyville and graduated from Shelbyville Central. I attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned my Undergraduate and Master's degree while there. I have been married for 22 years to my husband, Matthew. We have two children, Holt (20) and Cari Beth (18). Holt is a junior at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Cari Beth is a freshman also at UTK. This is my 24th year teaching.
