Welcome
This is my 13th year at McFadden, and I am so excited to be part of the 4th grade team at this school! My goal in the classroom is to teach your children and help them become confident and successful at home, in the community and at school. I am looking forward to a great year and to teaching your children love Science and Social Studies!
I graduated from David Lipscomb University and received my Master's Degree from MTSU. I've taught at Christiana Elementary, MTCS, Radnor Baptist Academy and McFadden. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and elementary art.
I have two wonderful children. My son is a professor of math, at Vanderbilt University and my daughter, is about to begin her fourth year of medical school at UT Health Science Center in Memphis. My daughter's husband is a computer scientist for the University of New Mexico. My husband and I like to hike and spend time with our children. I like to read, eat-out and travel. We have become fans of the schools our children attended and love to watch the Vols, Michigan and Notre Dame sports. I can't wait to get to know your families.
