Welcome

Hello! I have been teaching at a Rutherford County School for 11 years now. Before McFadden, I taught at Walter Hill Elementary. I have lived in Murfreesboro my whole life and attended Walter Hill School from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. Later, I attended Oakland High School where I met my husband. We have been married for 22 years now and have two wonderful children. My son, Garrett, is a senior at Central Magnet School, and my daughter, Taylor Anne, is a sophomore at Motlow State. After my children started going to school, I went back to school too, and I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Middle Tennessee State University. I am certified to teach from Pre-K to 8th grade.

 

Teaching is my passion because I want to positively impact people's lives, just like my great teachers did for me. As a teacher, I have the unique opportunity to mentor, teach and listen to my students and provide a safe and welcoming environment for all. I am excited to teach Kindergarten this year and provide my students with a joyful learning experience.
