Welcome to Mrs. Ann Jackson's 4th Grade Reading and Language Arts website!
Hello, my name is Ann Jackson, and I am thrilled to be at McFadden this year!  In January of 1998, I started my teaching career at Eagleville School.  I have been teaching at McFadden since 2010.   Over the years, I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I am currently the Reading/Language Arts teacher for 4th grade.  I am a huge grammar nerd, and I am proud of that.  I am a life-long resident of Rutherford County and am a proud product of Kittrell Elementary and Oakland High School.   I received my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from MTSU.  I am married to Chris Jackson, and we have a son, Bradley who attends Blackman High, a daughter, Bethany, who is a 5th grader here at MSE, and a rat terrier puppy named Kimi!  My family enjoys sports, especially cheering on the Tennessee Vols!   It is an honor to be back at McFadden, where I completed my student teaching.  McFadden is truly a magical place, and I am blessed to be a part of it!  I look forward to working with the tremendous students, parents, and faculty of such a special school this year!
