Welcome

Welcome to Mrs. Ann Jackson's 3rd Grade Math Page!

Hello, my name is Ann Jackson, and I am thrilled to be at McFadden!  In January of 1998, I started my teaching career at Eagleville School (Go Eagles).  I have been teaching at McFadden (Go Mustangs) since 2010.   Over the years, I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I am currently the math teacher for 3rd grade.   I am a life-long resident of Rutherford County and am a proud product of Kittrell Elementary (Go Blue Devils) and Oakland High School (Go Patriots).   I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from MTSU (Go Raiders).  I am married to a fellow class of 1993 Oakland High School alum, Chris Jackson, and we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in July.  We have a wonderful and techie son, Bradley, who graduated from Blackman High (Go Blaze) in 2020.  He will be completing his associate degree at Motlow in December to earn certifications in Cyber Defense.  We also have an amazing daughter, Bethany, who is a very social and active junior at Central Magnet (Go Tigers).  We just moved into our dream farmhouse in Readyville a few months ago and are loving living in the boondocks.  My other "baby" is Kimi, our almost 8-pound rat terrier princess!  She's pretty adorable!  My family enjoys sports, especially cheering on the Tennessee Vols (Go Big Orange)!   It is an honor and privilege to be back at McFadden, where I completed my student teaching many years ago.  McFadden is truly a magical place, and I am blessed to be a part of it!  I look forward to working with the tremendous students, parents, and faculty of such a special school this year!
